For districts and educational service centers

SDI Studio is in beta with individual special education teachers. We're talking with a small number of districts and ESCs about what a wider rollout would need. We aren't selling one yet.

Three questions worth asking any vendor

How are compliance facts sourced and reviewed?

Every fact comes from an official state source: the state's special education rules, its guidance documents, or its required forms. In Ohio, that means Ohio Administrative Code 3301-51 and the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce's guidance and forms. Each fact is stored with its citation and a history of every change, and the sources are checked every week so that revisions are caught when they happen. The rule set has been reviewed by an experienced special educator, and our review process is built so that several reviewers can check each version independently.

Where does student information go?

From the teacher's computer directly to the AI model provider, and back. It never passes through a Bright Foundry server, and we keep no copy of it. Our privacy and trust page explains exactly what we do hold.

How are district requirements beyond the state minimum handled?

Some districts ask for more than the state requires, such as benchmarks for every student rather than only the students the rules require them for. A teacher sets that once, and it applies to every goal they draft. The settings available today can only add to the state's requirements; none of them can remove one.

Are you a teacher?

If you'd like your district to take a look at SDI Studio, send this page to your special education coordinator or supervisor. It answers the questions they are likely to ask first.
